Hand Washing • Hand washing facilities with soap and hot water in place. • Stringent hand washing taking place, prior to during and after task for at least 20 seconds • Paper towels/hand dyers for drying of hands • See hand washing guidance at https://www.nhs.uk/live-well/healthy-body/best-way-to-wash-your-hands/ • Gel sanitisers in any area where washing facilities not readily available	All persons to be reminded on a regular basis to wash their hands for 20 seconds with warm water and soap and the importance of proper drying. Also reminded to catch coughs and sneezes in tissues – Follow Catch it, Bin it, Kill it and to avoid touching face, eyes, nose or mouth with unclean hands. Tissues will be made available throughout the workplace. To help reduce the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) remind everyone of the public health advice from government, NHS, Public Health providers.
Cleaning Frequently cleaning and disinfecting objects and surfaces that are touched regularly, particularly in areas of high use such as door handles, light switches, reception area using appropriate cleaning products and methods.	Rigorous checks will be carried out by line managers to ensure that the necessary procedures are being followed.
Social Distancing Social Distancing means reducing the number of persons in any work area to comply with the 1-metre gap recommended by Government / NHS / Public Health England/ Public Health Agency. This applies to all areas of Salons. When working with clients this will not be achieved and then the client and the staff member must wear PPE. Take steps to review work schedules including start & finish times/shift patterns to reduce number of workers in the Salon at any one time. Relocating workers to other tasks where possible. Redesigning processes to ensure social distancing in place. Telephone & video calls to be used instead of face to face meetings. Ensuring sufficient rest breaks for staff.	All Staff to be reminded on a regular basis of the importance of social distancing both in the workplace and outside of it. Management conduct visual checks to ensure this is adhered to. when working are within two metres mandatory PPE must be worn. This will be discussed with the client and issued if the client dues not have their own. Gloves, Surgical Mask and washable gown to be made available to the client. Face protection for staff will be full face shield.
Wearing of Gloves All will be instructed on how to check, use, remove and dispose of gloves carefully to reduce contamination	Staff to be reminded that wearing of gloves is not a substitute for good hand washing. Delivery drivers All drivers must have access to welfare facilities in the premises they visit as part of their work. Preventing access is against the law. Those who already provide reasonable access to toilets and handwashing facilities should continue to do so. Driving to work Workers should travel alone to work. If this cannot happen then they should use the controls listed (or other suitable controls) to ensure their safety, and that of others.	Share with the same individuals and with the minimum number of people at any one time. Wherever possible maintain social distancing and avoid touching their faces. Maintain good ventilation (i.e. keeping the windows open) and face away from each other during the journey. Wash their hands for 20secs (or use hand sanitiser if soap and water are not available) before entering and after getting out of the vehicle. Regularly clean the vehicle using gloves and standard cleaning products, with particular emphasis on handles and other surfaces which may be touched during the journey.

Symptoms of Covid-19 If anyone becomes unwell with a new continuous cough or a high temperature while in the workplace they will be sent home and advised to follow the government stay at home guidance. Line managers will maintain regular contact with staff members during this time. If advised that a member of staff or public has developed Covid-19 and were recently on our premises (including where a member of staff has visited other work place premises), the management team of the workplace will contact Daiva’s Director to discuss the case and notify the relevant Public Health Authority for contact tracing.	Daiva’s Directors will manage support to staff who are affected by Coronavirus or who have a family member affected.
